  • In CBT, we use factual evidence to challenge unrealistic thoughts and replace them with positive behaviors. We help you identify triggers, build healthy coping skills, and learn to manage your emotions. CBT is used to treat relationship issues, work-related challenges, and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, and PTSD.

  • DBT is designed for people who experience intense, overwhelming, and unpredictable emotions. This adapted version of CBT helps to manage impulsive and destructive behaviors. DBT is used to treat bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, self-harm, substance-use disorder, and suicidal ideations.

  • EFT focuses on underlying feelings and patterns that cause conflict in couples and families. We work closely together to discover unmet needs that may be hiding behind anger. You learn to be emotionally honest with your partner and family and this vulnerability leads to stronger trust and deeper emotional connections.

  • MBCT teaches you to accept negative thoughts as temporary, observing them in a detached, nonjudgmental way. Using mindfulness activities like breathing exercises, we focus on present-moment awareness to help you develop positive responses to stress. Originally developed to prevent depression relapse, MBCT is also used to treat anxiety and mood disorders.

  • Motivational interviewing is a communication style used with various types of therapy. We use this technique to help you resolve mixed feelings about change and empower you to develop your own motivation. This method is used to treat mental health issues, including addiction and improve symptoms of chronic health conditions like asthma and diabetes.

  • In psychodynamic therapy, we gently guide you to explore early life experiences and uncover any repressed emotions influencing your current struggles. Anxiety and depression symptoms are reduced by identifying the root cause of your distress. This increased emotional intelligence leads to improved relationships and overall wellness.

  • This specialized form of cognitive behavioral therapy helps children and adults struggling with trauma. We discuss trauma’s effect on your mind and body so you can understand your reactions and validate your experience. Relaxation and coping skills are taught before you are safely guided to share your trauma. Self-defeating thoughts are replaced with resilient thinking and gradual exposure to triggers helps reduce fear. Other benefits include reduced anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms and a renewed sense of hope.
